Position: Maintenance Technician (Per Diem)
Location: Hospital for Behavioral Medicine – Worcester, MA 016061
Shift: Days
Salary: $22.00 per hour

• Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and janitorial duties with minimal supervision.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, electrical tests, and inspections of the physical plant equipment.
• Assist in ensuring a safe and risk‑preventive environment compliant with infection control, OSHA regulations, and Safety/Risk Management Plans.
• Remove, install, and repair mechanical/electrical equipment under direct supervision.
• Maintain facility grounds in a neat and attractive appearance.
• Support facility‑wide quality and performance improvement goals.

• High school graduate or equivalent (technical or trade school experience preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating hand and power tools with proper safety precautions.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and mechanical engineering.
• Complete familiarity with the physical plant within two weeks of hire.

This is a per diem role. The expected hourly compensation is $22.00. Consideration will be given to experience and skill level.
