A.F. Amorello & Sons Inc. is an IUOE Local 4 Union company currently looking to fill a Heavy Equipment Operator position. Ideal candidates must have hands-on experience with underground utility installations and a high-level of proficiency in operating heavy earthmoving machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Produce precise sloping, grading, and excavation surrounding existing utilities
- Perform mass earthmoving, rough and fine grading, and site preparation
- Inspect, maintain, and conduct daily safety checks on all heavy machinery
- Engage in close collaboration with site foremen, laborers, and project managers
- Comply with OSHA regulations, trench safety standards, and union guidelines
- 3+ years' experience in heavy machine operation.
- Valid Massachusetts State Hoisting Excavation License
- Valid MassDOT Medical Card
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
This is a full-time, on-site position that will primarily serve Worcester County and surrounding areas.
