MANUFACTURING PLANT IN WORCESTER MA IS LOOKING FOR A DAY SHIFT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN WORK WITH PLCS, VFDS, 480V, WELD, ETC.

SHIFT: MON-FRI 7AM-330PM

PAYS: $30-$40 (DOE)

Pay: $30-$40/hour
Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Schedule: Monday-Friday

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment. This position works with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and maintain safe, reliable plant operations.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  .
• Rebuild and repair pumps, cylinders, valves, blowers, motors, and related equipment
  .
• Troubleshoot electrical components including relays, motors, starters, fuses, drives, and control wiring
  .
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and light automation systems
  .
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, work orders, and maintenance documentation.
• Support development and maintenance of SOPs and preventive maintenance procedures
  .
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, grinding, and metalworking as needed.
• Maintain facility systems including air compressors, electrical distribution, plumbing, and HVAC
  .
• Complete maintenance documentation using a CMMS
  .
• Follow all company,
  OSHA, ISO 9001:2015, safety, and environmental requirements
  .
• Participate in scheduled on-call emergency coverage as required.

• High School Diploma and Trade Certificate required.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  .
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and industrial controls
  .
• Experience with industrial machinery, material handling equipment, and facility systems.
• CNC machining, metal forming, heat treating, and automation experience preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  
  CMMS experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
