Are you a college graduate who enjoys mentoring young adults, building community, and creating a positive residential environment?
Seven Hills Foundation is seeking a Residential Coordinator (R.C.) to support gap-year students ages 17–22 living in on-site apartments. This unique, live-in role combines mentorship, community building, residential supervision, and student support.
As a Residential Coordinator, you’ll serve as a trusted mentor and resource for students while helping create a safe, respectful, and welcoming home environment. You’ll work alongside full-time program staff to support students through their residential experience, encourage independence, and address concerns when they arise.
This is a live-in position. The Residential Coordinator lives in a separate one-bedroom apartment on site and must remain in residence overnight whenever students are in residence.

What You’ll Do:
Provide ongoing supervision, support, and mentorship to students living in the residence.
Help create a residential community centered on respect for people, personal space, and shared property.
Promote the safety and well-being of students, staff, and the residential environment.
Serve as a positive role model and trusted resource for students.
Enforce and reinforce program policies and disciplinary expectations when necessary.
Facilitate weekly house meetings with students.
Respond to student questions, concerns, and communications in a timely and supportive manner.
Write nightly updates and semester check-ins regarding students in the residence.
Conduct weekly and monthly inspections of the residence.
Report maintenance concerns promptly and complete minor maintenance projects as needed.
Coordinate and conduct monthly fire drills.
Help maintain and develop residential program policies and practices.
Plan and facilitate optional weeknight and weekend activities that encourage connection and community.
Collaborate with full-time program staff and the Assistant Program Director to support a successful residential experience.
Perform other duties as assigned.
A Unique Residential Experience Students typically live in residence for 8–10 weeks at a time, for approximately 30 weeks throughout the September–May academic year.
The Residential Coordinator position averages approximately 52 evening and weekend hours per week and includes overnight residential responsibilities. The position is designed for someone who enjoys being part of a community and is comfortable balancing structure and accountability with approachability and mentorship.

Bachelor's degree required
Standard driver’s license – class C or class D1 – 3 years of related experience
