Intake Coordinator

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is a leading statewide provider of behavioral health services and a Certified Great Place to Work. With deep roots in Western Massachusetts and a growing presence in communities throughout the state, we are currently seeking an Intake Coordinator to join our OTP Team.

What You Will Do:

  • Engage individuals seeking services, obtaining intake information in a proficient and professional manner.
  • Determine the most suitable service or Level of Care using ASAM Criteria.
  • Communicate with referral sources and program staff in a timely, professional manner.
  • Verify client insurance and maintain accurate, up-to-date charts.
  • Identify safety or risk concerns and follow appropriate protocols, including referral to BHN Crisis or emergency services when needed.
  • Manage waitlists and callbacks to ensure timely admissions.

Who You Are:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • SUD intake and insurance verification experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorder and mental health services.
  • Excellent computer, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence in working with diverse populations.

Pay Range: $21.00-$24.00
