Position Summary:

The Home Base Stabilization Supervisor will have direct programmatic oversight of the Home Base Case Managers, providing stabilization support, ensuring productivity and facilitating training within the team. The Home Base Stabilization Supervisor will have oversight of Home Base stabilization caseloads and oversee the overall staff case management. The Home Base Stabilization Supervisor will work in collaboration with the Home Base Processing Manager regarding client files and ensuring compliance, as outlined by the Home Base Administrative Plan provided by the funders.

They will attend bi-weekly/monthly Home Base meetings, as required by EOHLC, and provide all indicated services as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Home Base Case Managers are consistently completing comprehensive client assessments to collect financial, employment, housing, education, and health information as appropriate to develop a re-housing and stabilization plan.
  • Provide Home Base case management oversight, backup, and support any and all emergency assistance clients as well as housing search advocacy.
  • Responsible for performing regular internal quality control and internal compliance to ensure overall positive client experience, as well as ensuring standards and processes are consistently met as outlined by the administration plan and RCAP Solutions.
  • Provide regular management support to Home Base Case Managers and collaborate with Home Base Processing Manager.
  • Ensure the tracking and completion of the stabilization process in accordance with RCAP Solutions and Funders timeline. (i.e. program start and completion process, Touch Point completions, HUD Assessments, initial and final, program termination process, appeal process, track staff class loads, etc.)
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
  • Responsible for returning calls in a timely manner and provide services to individuals of the program as well colleagues, as necessary.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a supervisor capacity, with direct reports within case management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in social services case management and/or direct knowledge of housing stabilization programs and/or emergency shelter setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal staff, communities, leadership and stakeholders.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while meeting all deadlines; must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize; and attend/participate in meetings presenting a team player approach.
  • Create a safe, supportive environment for all residents and visitors, along with maintaining excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with software systems.
  • Encourage a positive work environment that is inclusive and supportive of change.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish/Haitian Creole) preferred, but not required.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required; some college beneficial but not required.
Certifications or Licensures:
  • Valid Massachusetts Driver's license, insured vehicle, and the ability to travel throughout the state, training participation, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Home Base Case Managers (6–8)

Physical Requirements:
  • Typical work settings include the ability to spend extended hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
  • Move regularly from sitting to standing position as well as frequently bending to file and print documents.
  • Ability to work on repetitive tasks and use fine motor skills to handle and control objects.
  • Ability to use earpieces or headphones. Speak, listen, and understand others.
  • Occasionally lift 15 to 30 lbs.
  • Travel intermittently throughout Central Massachusetts within service areas.

  • $60,000-$68,000 per year
