Job Description
Senior Build and Release Engineer responsible for maintaining and improving a large‑scale build and test pipeline used by dozens of engineers. The role includes day‑to‑day responsibilities such as building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting and fixing pipeline issues, upgrading pipeline components, building tools to support developers, troubleshooting build and deployment issues across environments (DEV, QA), and automating deployments and configuration management using Ansible or Puppet.
Collaboration with development and operations teams is required for seamless code integration and release.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience and 5+ years related experience.
- Strong software development experience.
- Strong Java and scripting (Bash, Python) skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of Git and Jenkins.
- Strong Linux skills.
- Ability to debug complex systems and work in unfamiliar codebases.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with Grafana, Ansible, Git Hub Actions.
