Job Summary For Pega Application Engineer- (Worcester, MA)

• Support and implement Pega Constellation solutions for business projects.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable Pega applications.
• Develop, troubleshoot, enhance, and document software components.
• Interpret technical designs and create/oversee technical specifications.
• Lead and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Manage technical resources, risks, and tasks within project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
• Work closely with QA to create test plans and resolve issues.
• Contribute to technical architecture, feasibility reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical direction to development teams.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and team members.
• Drive best practices in software development lifecycle and Dev Ops tool usage.
• Promote knowledge sharing, self-development, and continuous learning.
• Participate in training delivery for software delivery teams.
• Build knowledge of property & casualty insurance concepts and application systems.

• Pega 24, React, Java, Tomcat
• Web technologies:
  JavaScript, AngularJS, AJAX, JQuery, CSS3, HTML5
• Agile methodologies, JSON
• Object-Oriented design principles

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5+ years Java/J2EE web application development
• Pega Constellation experience (SDKs, custom components)
• Dev Ops tools experience
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Pega CLSA certification is a plus
