Airport Planning & Strategy Lead

We are thrilled to announce that Katie Servis has joined our Aviation Division as our new Manager of Airport Planning! Katie spent five years with Hoyle Tanner in the early 2000s and another private firm before becoming a Senior Environmental Analyst with MassDOT Aeronautics for six years. Most recently, Katie managed Cape Cod Gateway Airport, populating the headlines with her innovations and practical leadership.

In her time with the Airport, she increased revenues, implemented green technology solutions, brought new airlines, and established herself as a highly respected leader and member of her community.

With more than 30 years in aviation, Katie is known for being organized, collaborative, transparent, and driven.

We’re excited to have Katie back on our team! About returning to Hoyle Tanner, Katie said, “After 10 years of building and expanding transportation options and facilities at Cape Cod Gateway Airport in Hyannis, Massachusetts, I felt that I could leverage this foundation of expertise in airport management, community relations, and project development to help a wider range of aviation clients.

I am no stranger to Hoyle Tanner, and I have returned after 20 years in various roles in the industry. Returning is a highlight of my career and extension of my deep connections in the aviation industry and a broad network of knowledge.”

At Hoyle Tanner, she will assist all our clients with their day-to-day planning and strategy, helping them capitalize on an ever-changing transportation industry. She will lead the planning group on projects ranging from airport master plans, to passenger facility charge programs, advanced air mobility studies, land and easement acquisition services, and airport business planning.
