Airgas is Hiring for a Microbulk Driver in Worcester!

We are looking for you!

• Pay: $30/Hr. with a $2500.00 Sign On Bonus.
• Safety Bonus up to $2,000/yr!
• Home Every Night!
• Monday-Friday schedule with the occasional weekend, shifts start in the morning
• Occasional layovers required
• Route area:
  Downtown Boston and the surrounding areas
• Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, and the latest camera technology.

Airgas National Carbonation specializes in CO2. All ANC trucks are day cabs with automatic transmission and we also utilize slip seats. As a Bulk CO2 Driver, expect to make 10 to 15 deliveries a day utilizing a straight Bulk Truck weighing up to 28k lbs. A typical work day ranges from 8-12 hours per day (not to exceed daily Hours of Service regulations).

Some areas and routes will require periodic overnight trips (further information will be provided upon interview if travel is to be expected).

• Transfer product from Airgas truck to customer tank through hose hook up.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
• Loading Microbulk tanks, filling customer owned Microbulk tanks as assigned.
• Assist field service technicians with C02 tank installations & repair work as required.
• Maintain DOT, SAFECOR and Airgas vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed.
• Assure the route truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis.

• At least 21 years old.
• Class B CDL or A CDL with at least 1 year CDL experience within the last 4 years.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements required. Candidates without a hazmat will be required to obtain the endorsement within 60 days of hire date.
• No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.
• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years.
• No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for failure to pay child support.
• No DUI in the last 7 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

• Effective verbal communication and ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before customers or employees of the Company.
• Work may require standing, stooping, crouching, sitting for long periods of time or bending.
