Airgas is hiring for a Microbulk Driver in Worcester.

• Transfer product from Airgas truck to customer tank through hose hook up.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
• Load microbulk tanks and fill customer‑owned microbulk tanks as assigned.
• Assist field service technicians with CO2 tank installations and repair work as required.
• Maintain DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed.
• Assure the route truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis.
• Make 10 to 15 deliveries a day utilizing a straight bulk truck weighing up to 28 k lbs, with typical workday ranging from 8–12 hours per day not to exceed daily Hours of Service regulations.

• Valid Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents in the last three years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or prove completion of trucking school within the last 5 years.

• Experience with CO2 or other specialty gases is a plus.

• Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.00
• Hourly compensation: $30.00/HR
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday with occasional weekend shifts, starting in the morning.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Route area includes NYC, Long Island & Northern New Jersey.
