Worcester, MA – 199 SW Cutoff – Filling industrial.
This position is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of compressed gas cylinders between locations while maintaining meticulous documentation and performing vehicle safety inspections. The driver will professionally manage associate and customer relations, operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and strictly adhere to all hazardous material safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle to deliver compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
- Collect empty cylinders from customers and address inquiries to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Record all transactions accurately and obtain necessary customer signatures.
- Handle loading and unloading of all materials.
- Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to maintain full safety compliance.
- Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a representative of the company during all deliveries.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
- Completion of an Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
- DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
- Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs. and occasionally lift >100 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
- Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace.
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift experience.
- Touch freight delivery experience.
- Pay rate: US $29.00 per hour.
