• Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Maintains housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Purchasing
  • Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
  • Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
  • Administers on-line purchasing systems.
  • Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Tools, Fleet & Inventory
  • Maintains records of goods ordered and received, logs all rentals into the rental log and follows up with foreman on status.
  • Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
  • Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
  • Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
  • Responsible for tool inventory and control: tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools.
  • Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.

• Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 2 years hands‑on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.
• Forklift operating experience/certification preferred.
