Material Handler

Job Title and Location

Material Handler I — Worcester, MA (Zip: 01606) - 12 month contract starting immediately.

Pay: $21.50/hr benefits may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), education assistance, paid time off (including PTO, holidays, and other leave required by law).

• Quickly and accurately move production materials and parts into and out of warehouse shelves, storage bins, and production locations.
• Receive and put away inbound deliveries.
• Pick and issue parts for production jobs.
• Create inventory and other transaction records in company systems and database with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure the warehouse is a safe, clean, and efficient production work environment.
• Check completed parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments when required to meet quality goals.

• Operate a variety of material handling equipment (sit‑down or stand‑up fork trucks, pallet jacks, two‑wheel and four‑wheel dollies, cranes, pallet stackers/walkie riders, etc.).
• Unload and load delivery trucks, trailers, and outside carriers to ensure proper movement of materials.
• Forklift experience (stand‑up) is a MUST HAVE skill for this role.

Stand‑up forklift experience is required. Other qualifications may include experience in rapid material handling, inventory accuracy, and maintaining clean and safe warehouse practices.
