Warehouse Manager, Distribution/ General Warehouse
Holman Powertrain is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage warehouse operations in Worcester, MA. The role focuses on aligning warehouse activities with company targets, ensuring safety, security, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Manage warehouse resources and activities to achieve company objectives and targets.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure all health, safety, and security requirements are met for the building and inventory.
- Research, recommend, and implement cost‑reduction and improvement measures across all warehouse transactions.
- Utilize the company‑designated freight solution for shipping products not delivered on a Holman truck.
- Plan, organize, and control the warehouse operation, assigning work and managing inventory receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods.
- Create and audit daily work logs, labor utilization, and billing reports.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- 3‑5 years of experience overseeing operations for distribution, supply chain, or warehouse functions.
- Strong coaching and guiding abilities to improve staff knowledge and skill.
- Ability to organize the warehouse to reach maximum efficiency.
- Proficiency in planning driver routes, creating work schedules, and managing warehouse inventory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain company and warehouse processes and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Registered forklift lift experience.
- Pallet jack experience.
- Process‑ and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills regarding inventory management.
- Identification of OSHA and Hazmat compliance risks, and communication with the location supervisor.
- Must pass background, physical, and drug tests per pre‑employment process.
Competitive wages commensurate with experience and location, in the range of $72,950.00 – $ annually for full‑time employees.
