What will you do?- Manage warehouse resources and activities, aligning with company objectives and targets.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are met and maintain the security of the building and inventory.
- Research, recommend, and implement cost‑reduction and improvement measures for all warehouse transactions and activities.
- Utilize the company‑designated freight solution to ship all products not delivered on a Holman truck.
- Plan, organize, and control the operation of the warehouse, including receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods.
- Create and audit daily work logs, labor, and billing reports.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- 3‑5 years of experience overseeing operations in distribution, supply chain, or warehouse environments.
- Ability to coach and guide staff to improve knowledge and skills based on performance information.
- Strong organizational skills to achieve maximum warehouse efficiency.
- Experience planning driver routes, creating work schedules, and managing inventory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain company and warehouse processes and procedures.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Verified forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Process‑ and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities related to inventory management and movement of goods.
- Knowledge of OSHA and Hazmat compliance risks and ability to communicate them to the location supervisor.
- Must be able to pass a background/physical and drug test as part of the pre‑employment process.
