£12.21 per hour (or age-related minimum wage if under 21)
About the RoleYou will be working 37.5 hours per week, on a rota between 8:00am and 6:00pm, covering one of the following shifts each day:
- 8:00am - 4:00pm
- 9:00am - 5:00pm
- 10:00am - 6:00pm
Each shift includes a 0.5 hour unpaid break (7.5 paid hours per day). No evenings or weekends. Overtime is available between 8:00am-6:00pm.
You will be primarily supporting children aged 18 months to 2.5 years, providing high quality care, following children’s interests, and supporting their individual needs.
About the SettingThis is a well-established, four-room nursery with:
- 68 children on roll
- A team of 23 staff
- A “home-from-home”, nurturing ethos
- A strong focus on child-led practice
The nursery supports a diverse community, including children who may require additional emotional and developmental support. They are looking for someone who is calm, patient and confident supporting children with varied needs.

Interview ProcessThe interview process consists of:
- Stage 1: 30‑minute face‑to‑face interview
