Position: Social Worker (Children's) CAP

Social Worker (Children's) CAP Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker (Children's) CAP to join our team in providing essential support to children and families in need.

As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in promoting the well-being and development of children facing various challenges, including abuse, neglect, and emotional difficulties.

You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and community organizations to assess the needs of children and develop effective intervention plans.

This position requires a deep understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and legal frameworks surrounding child welfare.

You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions that foster resilience and empowerment in children and their families.

Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs and strengths.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.

Provide counseling and support to children and families facing various challenges.

Advocate for children's rights and access to necessary services and resources.

Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate care and interventions.

Maintain accurate documentation of case notes, progress reports, and service plans.

Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skill sets and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

Valid social work license in the state of practice.

Minimum of two years of experience working with children and families in a social work setting.

Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and child welfare laws.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Hours Per Week:
37.00 Start Time: 09:00 End Time: 17:30 Pay Per Hour: £21.43
