Maintenance Engineer

Location: Worcestershire

Leading Security Installation organisation seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to complete intruder alarm, CCTV and access control servicing on customer sites to comply with Company and BS/EN standards. Role of Maintenance Engineer includes installation, service and repair of security systems, either Midlands based or Thames Valley M40 Corridor.
Successful candidates for the position of Maintenance Engineer will be able to demonstrate experience of working on the service and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems; have a "can do" attitude and a minimum of three years’ experience. NB. Security screening to BS7858 standard is required for this role and candidates must possess a full clean driving licence.

* Occasional overnight stays required.

Duties of Maintenance Engineer:
 
* Complete intruder alarm, CCTV and access control servicing on customer sites to comply with Company and BS/EN standards
 
* Complete small works and install and replace items as highlighted during maintenance visits, such as cameras or detectors
 
* Ensure completion of work in a timely and effective manner without losing track of quality and remain compliant to industry standards
 
* Carry out maintenance on existing systems
 
* Methodically diagnose problems, efficiently fault find and undertake corrective actions
 
* Work safely and adhere to regulation and RAMS
 
* Ensure that administration requirements are completed on time and all necessary records are maintained accurately
 
* Participate with the on-call rota
 
* To conduct all activities in a professional manner at all times and follow company procedures
 
* Attend company meetings as required
 
* Ensure exceptional levels of customer service and client relations are maintained
Skills and Experience required by Maintenance Engineer:
 
* Minimum 3 years’ experience of working on the service and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
 
* Proficiency working with the following systems is desirable: CCTV:
Dahua;
Intruder:
Texecom, Pyronix, Ajax and Galaxy;
Access Control:
Paxton
 * "Can do" attitude
 
* Security screening to BS7858 standard - Essential
 
* A full UK driving licence - Essential

Salary:
Up to: £35K + stand by, call out and overnight stay fee
