Electrician

ACT Electrical is a small, family‑run electrical contractor operating across the Worcester area. We are a fast‑growing company built on quality workmanship, trust, and long‑term client relationships, and we are now looking to welcome a skilled electrician to join our team.

This is a varied and hands‑on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys both independent working and being part of a close‑knit team.

You will be carrying out a wide range of electrical works across domestic and commercial sites, including:

• First and second fix installations
• Testing and inspection (EICRs)
• Follow‑on remedial works
• Maintenance and fault‑finding

You'll manage your own jobs day‑to‑day, with support from management and a company that values doing things properly.

• Managing allocated jobs in line with drawings and cost plans
• Liaising with managers and clients regarding design queries and cost variations
• Ordering materials and arranging returns with wholesalers
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
• Fault‑finding and providing effective solutions directly to customers
• Ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Own your own van and tools (for the right candidate, a van and tools can be supplied)
• Hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
• Have a strong understanding of testing and inspection
• Hold the 2391 qualification or equivalent
• Work well both independently and as part of a team
• Show initiative when resolving on‑site electrical issues
• Be IT literate for submitting electronic timesheets

• Full‑time, permanent or freelance options available
• Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per year (depending on experience)
