The Role
As a Garage Door Installer, you'll be responsible for installing high-quality roller shutter garage doors at customers' homes across your local area. You'll represent the business professionally, ensuring every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard while delivering excellent customer service.
Successful candidates will attend a short training programme, including a few days in Leeds to collect their company vehicle, equipment, and complete initial training before working independently in their local area.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for candidates with hands-on experience in industries such as:
* Construction
* Telecoms
* Building trades
* Pipe fitting
* Maintenance
* Installation engineering
* Other practical installation or engineering roles
Previous garage door installation experience is advantageous but not essential. If you have transferable skills and a practical background, full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements
You must:
* Be confident using power tools and hand tools.
* Be physically fit, as the role involves regular lifting and manual handling.
* Have strong practical and problem-solving skills.
* Be comfortable working in customers' homes and delivering excellent customer service.
* Hold a full UK driving licence that has been held for at least one year.
* Have a clean UK driving licence.
* Be reliable, professional and have a strong work ethic.
* Be able to complete site paperwork accurately and follow health and safety procedures.
