Fire & Security Engineer – Worcestershire – £36,000 – £42,000

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a well-established and growing service team covering Worcestershire and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role where you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of fire and security systems across commercial properties and public sector sites.

Fire & Security Role & Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, fault-find and repair fire and security systems.
  • Work on Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Access Control systems.
  • Carry out small remedial works and system upgrades where required.
  • Cover Worcestershire and parts of Gloucestershire.
  • Provide professional on-site technical support to customers.
  • Complete accurate service reports, job sheets and related documentation.
  • Participate in a paid out-of-hours call-out rota.
  • Work across a range of commercial properties, including libraries and children’s centres.
  • Deliver work in line with current industry standards and company procedures.
Fire & Security Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire and/or security systems.
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Industry qualifications or manufacturer training.
  • Experience working within commercial environments.
