Job Description & How to Apply Below
Worcestershire | Circa £50,000 + Overtime + Call-Out + Company Vehicle
We’re looking for an experienced Specialist Engineer to join a growing engineering business providing heating and cooling solutions to commercial and industrial customers across the UK.
This is a hands-on, field-based position offering plenty of variety. You’ll work across different customer sites, tackling everything from planned servicing and installations through to fault finding and urgent breakdowns.
If you’re experienced with commercial boilers, chillers, HVAC or mechanical building services, we want to hear from you.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for a mixture of:
* Installing, servicing and maintaining commercial heating and cooling equipment
* Diagnosing and repairing boiler and chiller faults
* Working within commercial plant rooms
* Mechanical pipework installation and modifications
* Working with gas and oil-fired heating equipment
* Chilled water and associated HVAC systems
* Electrical controls and basic control wiring
* Supporting and leading engineers on larger installations
* Attending customer sites across the region and further afield when required
* Participating in an emergency call-out rota
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally come from a commercial heating, cooling, HVAC or building services engineering background and have strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
Experience across some of the following would be ideal:
Commercial boiler systems
Chillers and cooling equipment
Commercial mechanical pipework
Heating and chilled water systems
Plant room equipment
Gas and/or oil-fired systems
AHUs and associated HVAC equipment
Electrical controls
BMS systems
Qualifications
Relevant industry qualifications are highly desirable, including:
* Commercial Gas qualifications
* F-Gas certification
* Full UK driving licence
Don't tick every box? Still get in touch. Additional technical training can be provided for the right engineer.
Training & Development
There’s a real focus on developing engineers rather than leaving you doing the same job year after year.
Further training and qualifications can be provided depending on your existing experience, including additional refrigeration, oil, site supervision and management qualifications.
What’s On Offer?
* Circa £50,000 basic salary
* Company vehicle
* Overtime opportunities
* Additional call-out payments
* Company bonus scheme
* Private healthcare
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
* Company pension
* Ongoing technical training
* Individual development plan
* Regular company social events
You’ll be based from the Worcestershire office, with regular travel to customer sites. A company vehicle will be provided.
Due to the nature of some customer environments, successful applicants may also be required to complete a DBS check.
If you’re an experienced engineer who knows their way around commercial heating, cooling and plant equipment and wants a role with strong earning potential and genuine progression, apply today for a confidential conversation.
