£18.00 £ 21.00 per hour, depending on experience
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Flexible shifts between 7:30am and 5:00pm
Choose from 6-hour, 8-hour, or 10-hour shifts
Overtime opportunities available

About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join a well-established and highly respected company with over 75 years of industry experience .
Based in a brand-new, modern workshop , you will be joining a skilled and supportive team within a company that is committed to investing in both its people and equipment.
This role offers excellent flexibility, allowing you to choose a working pattern that suits your lifestyle, with no weekend work required .
Key Responsibilities As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of HGVs.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
Completing routine inspections, preventative maintenance and safety checks.
Repairing engines, gearboxes, braking systems, steering and suspension.
Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and rectify faults.
Ensuring all work is completed in line with DVSA regulations and manufacturer standards.
Completing job cards and maintenance documentation accurately.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop.
About You We are keen to hear from candidates with experience as an:
HGV Technician
HGV Mechanic
Heavy Vehicle Technician
Vehicle Technician
Light Vehicle Technician
Mechanical Technician or similar
Vehicle Technicians looking to transition into the HGV industry are also encouraged to apply , with training and support available.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates).
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A Full UK Driving Licence.
An HGV Licence would be advantageous, but is not essential.
