Wyoming Sugar Company is a 100% grower-owned beet sugar manufacturer, operating year-round with seasonal peaks during the Harvest and Campaign seasons from September to February. Based in Worland, Wyoming, the company serves growers across Fremont County and the Big Horn Basin. In the off-season, we focus on maintenance projects to ensure operational efficiency. Since transitioning from Holly Sugar ownership in 2002, Wyoming Sugar Company has remained committed to delivering high-quality products while supporting its growers and community.
Role DescriptionBe adept and proactive in processing purchase orders, inventory management and requisition. Personable with coworkers and vendors alike. Prior inventory experience preferred.
Functions and Responsibilities- Process purchase orders for supplies, materials, equipment and services.
- Track and maintain purchase confirmations.
- Call and follow up on POs and status.
- Send out replenishment requests.
- Assist with audits as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year experience in sales, purchasing, procurement, repair maintenance or a similar field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- 2 years of higher education preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, productivity & responsiveness.
- Strong and effective written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong administrative, data entry/retrieval and computer skills with expertise in using Microsoft Suite to create and maintain internal reports.
- Demonstrated listening and problem-solving skills and positive approach in dealing with problems.
- Interpersonal skills and skills in collaborating with all departments in a spirit of teamwork to meet company goals.
- Demonstrated skill in establishing cooperative and professional working relationships with peers, manager, customers, and vendors.
- Skilled in working on multiple projects and balancing them in consideration of their priority.
- Skilled in operating in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive demands.
- Ability to walk up multiple floors each day.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Compensation InformationMinimum Salary
$35,000/yearly, DOE (Depends on Experience)
