Provide a safe environment and enforce guidelines established by the facility for patron use and assigned activities. Maintain a high standard of customer service. Responsible for maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, classroom, and offices. Daily monitor and record information regarding pool chemistry.

• Oversee activities at an aquatic facility.
• Assist with swimming lessons.
• Explain and enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons.
• Maintain order in swimming areas.
• Perform first aid procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Maintain a positive and friendly approach with all patrons.
• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Perform various jobs as related to daily task list.
• Attend In‑Service training monthly.
• Be able to work different shifts as assigned, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in interacting with people of various ages
• Able to lift over 50 lbs
• Must have a current certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid/CPR or pass pre‑requisite lifeguard testing and course.
