JBS is seeking an hourly Production Team Member. Position starts at $21.60 per hour with the ability to go up to $27.60 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential between 6 pm-6 am.

• Work in an area where livestock is being killed
• Work regularly in temperatures that are near or below freezing (coolers, loading dock freezer)
• Work in areas with unpleasant odors
• Work in damp or cold conditions (20-30°F)
• Work in extreme heat (up to 104°F on the kill floor)
• Work in areas that require you to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs
• Work with sharp knives or a cutting tool
• Willing and capable of working overtime when necessary (heavy season—August to February)
• Available to work day and night shifts
• Willing and capable of working Saturdays
• Willing and capable of working in or around bloody areas, in a fast‑pace work environment, performing repetitive hand motions and body movements. Physical demanding jobs may take 5 to 6 weeks for the body to fully adjust to the work conditions, work environment, and job descriptions.

• Repetitive hand motions and grasping

• Reaching for product on the conveyor belt with hooks, reaching for boxes, or bags

• Constant standing for 8 to 10 hours per day, 6 days a week (loading dock 7 days as needed per schedule). Two breaks are scheduled based on the union contract and operational requirements.

• Heavy Work:
  Exerting 51 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 26 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 11 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for medium work.
• Very Heavy Work:
  Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
