Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Worthington, Minnesota, 56187!

Registered Nurse – OB/GYN

Worthington, MN | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 8 or 12-hour shifts | Weekends required (2 out of 3 weekends; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

• Provide care for OB triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, well-newborn, and special care nursery patients, including IV therapy, antibiotics, and short-term respiratory support (CPAP or O2)
• Care for GYN surgical patients within a 12-bed Women's Center unit (2 triage, 5 LRDP, 5 overflow postpartum/GYN surgical)
• Interpret fetal monitor strips using OBIX central monitoring system; maintain proficiency with EPIC electronic charting and Acudose medication dispensing
• Attend vaginal deliveries and provide immediate care and resuscitation of newborns; NRP certification required
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:2–3 mom/baby couplets, 1:2 early labor, 1:1 active labor, 1:3 post-op
• Float to the General Medical unit when OB census is low

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OB nursing experience, including fetal monitor strip interpretation and attendance at vaginal deliveries
• Must live within 80 miles of the facility to be eligible for local placement consideration

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and OBIX fetal monitoring systems
• Familiarity with special care nursery procedures including CPAP and supplemental oxygen support
• Experience in GYN surgical patient care

• Work within a supportive Women's Center environment where at least 2 OB-trained staff are present in-house at all times
• Hospital-washed scrubs (navy blue) are provided, and a structured orientation program is offered to support your transition to the unit
