We are looking for a friendly and professional Deli Associate to join our team. The Deli Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking and pricing deli/bakery products, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Deli Associate Duties and Responsibilities- Greet customers and answer questions regarding deli products
- Prepare deli sandwiches according to customer requests
- Stock shelves with deli & bakery products
- Price and label deli/bakery products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure that all deli products are stored and handled in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service
- Learn some baking skills to help out during slower moments of shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous deli or food service experience is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
