This posting is a part-time livestock weigher position. In addition to part-time hours, this position will provide relief to staff on an as needed basis and must be able to work on short notice.
This position provides accurate and impartial weighing services to livestock producers and buyers through issuance of Official Certificates of State Weight. This position is located in Worthington, MN at the JBS Swift Plant.
** Minimum Qualifications*
* ** _To facilitate proper years of service crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held._*
* + Basic math skills.
+ Ability to write legible and accurate reports.
+ Ability to transfer numbers from one form to another.
+ Ability to effectively deal with the public and the employees of the packing companies.
+ English skills sufficient to perform the job duties described above, using reading, writing and speaking skills.
+ Ability to hear oral instructions in a noisy environment.
+ The ability to celebrate diversity and a strong commitment to a respectful and inclusive work environment.
