Job Description

We are looking for a part‑time Job Coach to empower our clients with independent life skills. As a Job Coach, you will show clients how they can apply their natural gifts and talents to their work responsibilities and help them develop the social and job‑related skills necessary to navigate the workplace. The role requires creativity, strong people skills, superior organization, energy, and a positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Instruct clients on specific job and work skills, model good decision‑making skills, and access appropriate resources to provide high‑quality services.
  • Complete assessments on clients as requested by the Employment Specialist and provide input into client program plans.
  • Communicate openly with the Employment Specialist regarding client performance, behavior, and concerns; complete performance charts and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure production and quality standards are met each day.
  • Promote integration at the worksite through social interaction opportunities and active participation in community activities.
  • Train clients in emergency procedures and safety measures; promote personal safety.
  • Teach clients how to record accurate timecard information and ensure quality before payroll submission.
  • Provide job coaching at various assigned sites.
  • Submit accurate and timely paperwork, including progress notes, billing sheets, timesheets, expense logs, and other required reports.
  • Report client training and wages progress.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or GED/HSED.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of state minimum insurance coverage.
  • Ability to supervise, teach, train, and motivate individuals with disabilities.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Background checks cleared as required by service standards.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stoop, stand, and climb steps.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Driving capability.
