We are partnering with a respected Central Ohio real estate organization to identify a Senior Accounting Manager with LIHTC and affordable housing experience. Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounting activities for a portfolio of LIHTC and affordable housing properties
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with LIHTC requirements, GAAP, and investor reporting obligations
Partner closely with asset management, development, and property management teams
Coordinate audit and tax support activities, including partnership accounting and reporting
Evaluate and enhance accounting processes, controls, and workflows
Provide leadership, mentorship, and development support to accounting team members

Qualifications

Strong accounting experience within LIHTC, affordable housing, or real estate environments
Knowledge of partnership accounting and real estate ownership structures
CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification
Experience with Yardi or a similar property accounting system preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
