If you’re ambitious, excited about building relationships with great customers, and want the freedom to shape your role and take on increasing responsibility as you grow into leadership, this opportunity is for you.
Join Inkline Printing as an Executive Strategist, a leadership-track role designed for ambitious individuals who want to grow into executive responsibility within a profitable, fast-growing company. Work directly with the CEO, gain full visibility into revenue and operations, and earn increasing ownership as you develop into a future leader of the organization.
About UsInkline Printing is a profitable, fast-growing screen printing shop located in Columbus, OH, with a 5.0 Google Rating. We specialize in high-quality custom apparel and merchandise for businesses, organizations, and events, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service. Our team values collaboration, creativity, and a positive, down-to-earth approach to getting great work done.
About the RoleInkline Printing is seeking an ambitious, highly motivated individual to join our team as an Executive Strategist — a leadership-track position designed to develop a future leader within our organization.
This role is intentionally structured as an executive apprenticeship. You will work directly with Carlyn, Founder and CEO of Inkline Printing, receiving hands‑on mentorship in customer strategy, operations, and small business leadership. You will also collaborate closely with our COO, Connor, gaining cross‑functional exposure to production systems and workflow execution.
While your day‑to‑day responsibilities will center around customer communication and order coordination, the purpose of this role is much larger: to develop a deep operational understanding of how a profitable, growing company runs — and to prepare you to take on increasing responsibility over time.
This is not a traditional customer service role. It is a high‑expectation, high‑growth opportunity for someone who wants to build a career inside a business and grow into leadership.
Responsibilities- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in‑person interactions
- Use Printavo to create and manage quotes, orders, and customer documentation
- Track job progress and proactively communicate updates to customers
- Coordinate with our production team to ensure timelines and expectations are executed with precision
- Develop fluency in our product offerings, pricing structure, and turnaround timelines
- Address and resolve customer issues with professionalism, urgency, and long‑term relationship focus
We are looking for a candidate who is not simply seeking a job, but seeking growth.
You may be early in your career, but you demonstrate maturity, ownership, and a strong internal drive. You are motivated by responsibility and energized by the idea of becoming a leader inside a growing company.
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally
- Take initiative rather than waiting for instruction
- Are organized, detail‑oriented, and process‑minded
- Think long‑term and are interested in building something meaningful
- Are comfortable learning new systems (we use Printavo)
- Are proficient with Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
Bonus if you have:
- Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to improve workflow and productivity
- Experience in apparel, retail, or customer‑facing roles
- Direct mentorship from the founder of a profitable, fast‑growing small business
- Exposure to executive‑level decision‑making and business strategy
- A deep understanding of revenue operations and customer lifecycle management
- Hands‑on training in Printavo and real‑world operational systems
- Cross‑functional visibility into production, workflow, and execution
- A clear pathway toward expanded leadership within Inkline Printing
For the right individual, this position is designed to evolve. As you demonstrate competence and ownership, you will have the opportunity to take on increasing strategic responsibility and grow into a leadership role within the organization.
We are looking to invest in someone long‑term — someone who wants to grow with us.
