Join Our Team as a Middle School Science Teacher at Noble Academy Columbus!
Noble Academy Columbus, a 3-Star School in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher for the school year. This role will inspire and equip students in grades 6-8 with the scientific inquiry and STEM skills necessary for academic success through engaging, hands-on, and student-centered instruction. Your Role & Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging science instruction aligned with state standards.
- Foster a love for scientific exploration through hands-on experiments, inquiry-based learning, and real-world applications.
- Utilize data to differentiate instruction and meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Facilitate the school science fair, guiding students through the scientific process and project development.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to implement best practices and interdisciplinary STEM connections.
- Provide timely and meaningful feedback to support student growth in scientific understanding and critical thinking.
- Integrate STEM concepts and project-based learning strategies into science instruction.
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication and engagement.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, innovation, and academic achievement.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field.
- A valid Ohio teaching certificate/license (or in the process of obtaining one).
- Experience teaching middle school science preferred.
- A passion for science, student growth, and interdisciplinary learning.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to student success.
- The ability to use data to guide instruction and differentiate learning.
