Professional Land Surveyor, Ps

EMH&T is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to join our Survey team in Columbus, OH.

The role involves planning and completing multiple survey projects, working with office and field staff to ensure the final work meets client scope, standards, and deadlines.

Our survey team in Central Ohio is equipped with advanced tools, including Windows Mobile data collectors, conventional, servo, and robotic instruments, geodetic GPS receivers, and real-time Kinematic surveying capabilities, to handle all types of horizontal and vertical land surveys.

• Plan and manage survey projects and produce survey documents.
• Lead and oversee the survey team to meet project scope, standards, and deadlines.
• Estimate costs for bid proposals and assist in setting project timelines.
• Prepare various survey plans including construction staking, boundary, ALTA, right-of-way, plats, as-built, and topographic surveys.
• Collaborate with clients and engineering teams on project specifications and modifications.
• Resolve issues with municipal or utility companies to keep projects moving forward.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with guidance.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Ohio.
• 5-8 years of broad survey experience.
• Experience managing survey projects and tasks.
