The Role We Want You For

As an MEP Superintendent, based on the construction site, you will manage field operations and onsite construction of design-build projects, focusing on quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including start-up and testing of complex projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, safety, quality, and project management teams to ensure adequate resources.

Supervise MEP/FP subcontractors and suppliers.

Manage MEP/FP materials, systems, and shop drawing submissions.

Handle MEP/FP RFIs, field changes, and related engineering items.

Oversee MEP/FP Quality Control, start-up, energization, and testing procedures.

Responsible for MEP systems including plumbing, energy and fuel-oil, compressed air, HVAC, building controls, geothermal, steam, electrical distribution, lighting, power generation, UPS, surge protection, communication, security, site utilities, and infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent trade experience with progression to management.

10+ years of technical commercial/industrial construction management experience, preferably with design-build projects over $10 million.

Ability to supervise construction teams within budget and schedule constraints.

Strong safety record and commitment to quality.

Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites.

Physical ability to walk the site, climb ladders, and handle objects over 60 lbs.
