Wilcox Communities is seeking a qualified candidate interested in joining our property management team as a Maintenance Technician at one of our Central Ohio locations.

As a Maintenance Technician with Wilcox Communities your role will be a blend of:

  • Attention to Detail:
    As a member of our team, you will assist in all onsite maintenance activities for our apartment homes. This is a demanding and exciting position for those who like to multi-task and are looking to develop their career in the residential maintenance industry with a reputable, family-owned company. You will perform assigned tasks on punch lists and weekly site schedules per direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

    These tasks could include drywall & paint touch ups, HVAC repairs, electrical work, minor corrections to finish trades like shelving or bath accessories, clean up within units and around site and other finish work items needed to keep resident units in fantastic shape

Responsibilities
  • Assist in all onsite maintenance activities for apartment homes, including performing tasks on punch lists and weekly site schedules under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. Tasks may include drywall and paint touch ups, HVAC repairs, electrical work, finish-trade corrections, cleanup within units and around the site, and other finish work to maintain quality resident units.

    Experience:

    Interest and passion for Community Maintenance; ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate action. Enforce jobsite safety requirements to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Assist the Supervisor and Community Manager in coordinating and communicating with trade partners on site.

  • Required Qualifications, Skills, and

    Experience:
