LCNB National Bank is seeking a Branch Officer for our Worthington Office. This position leads and oversees all branch operations to ensure exceptional customer service, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives. This role requires broad knowledge of bank products, services, and operations and applies that knowledge to develop relationships, drive business growth, and enhance the branch’s market presence within the broader community.
The Branch Officer coaches and develops staff, models strong leadership, and ensures all branch activities comply with applicable regulations and bank policies.
- Provide leadership for branch operations to ensure professional, courteous, and efficient customer service while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and high operational standards.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls, audit standards, and bank policies; oversee internal and third‑party audits to achieve strong results.
- Play a proactive role in strategic planning and execute initiatives that support branch and overall bank goals.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities through community involvement, relationship building, and participation in local organizations and events.
- Lead, recruit, train, coach, and mentor branch staff to achieve growth objectives and individual performance goals; provide ongoing feedback, conduct evaluations, and manage HR responsibilities including scheduling, hiring participation, timecard approval, and merit recommendations.
- Develop and maintain individual employee development plans aligned with branch and organizational goals; coordinate training opportunities with internal partners and training resources.
- Encourage staff engagement in business development, referrals, and community activities while modeling professionalism, integrity, strong work ethic, and customer‑focused behavior.
- Lead the branch team in building and strengthening customer relationships through collaboration with key resource partners, including:
- Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial Lending
- Treasury Management
- Investment & Wealth Management Services
- Promote and model proactive cross‑selling activities aligned with the bank’s referral program.
- Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to resolve complex issues, support specialized transactions, and lead the branch through system changes or process improvements.
- Make sound, well‑informed decisions using judgment, analysis, and experience while maintaining strict confidentiality of customer and bank information.
- Comprehend, retain, and apply information necessary to perform duties effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent (required); college degree in Business or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of retail banking experience
- 5+ years of leadership/management experience
- Ohio Notary Public, or the ability to obtain within first three months of employment
- NMLS (obtained or transferred within 45 days)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with associates across the bank, as well as with third‑party agencies
- Superior leadership and team‑building skills, ability to develop direct reports to meet their full potential

- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Occasional movement to access files, equipment, and operational areas
- Regular use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment
- Occasional lifting of coin bags up to 50 lbs.
- Periodic travel within a 30-mile radius
