Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of residential units and common areas to identify and communicate maintenance needs.
  • Assist with pre-move-in and move-out inspections.
  • Perform interior and exterior property repairs and complete preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
  • Assist with unit turns as needed.
  • Address tenant requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities by utilizing property management software to record notes and track job time.
  • Maintaining organized records of supply purchases and property maintenance expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards.
  • Always maintaining integrity and honesty.
  • Being respectful of tenants and owners’ property at all times.
  • Maintain an organized and reliable vehicle and tools.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency maintenance issues.
  • Same day travel.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in residential properties.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems, but not required.
  • Experience with property management software.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
  • Basic carpentry skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
