Make an Impact Across Alaska!

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where you’ll serve diverse industries and customers across Alaska? If you have a passion for geotechnical, geological, and environmental services, this is your chance to make a real impact!

In this role, every day brings new challenges and opportunities. You’ll thrive in an interdisciplinary environment, splitting your time between the field and the office. Beyond technical work, you’ll have the chance to engage with the community, represent our client in professional organizations, and contribute to meaningful projects that shape Alaska’s future.

Our client is looking for a Senior (Utilities, Surface Transportation, or Site Development) Project Civil Engineer to lead site projects and collaborate directly with stakeholders.

If you're a motivated professional who enjoys taking the technical lead and driving projects forward, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Join a company with a fantastic culture, a strong community focus, and exciting, impactful work—this is the place to be!

Day to Day

As a Senior (Utilities) Project Civil Engineer, you'll take the lead in designing and managing utility infrastructure projects from start to finish. You’ll develop Preliminary Engineering Reports (PERs), provide expert recommendations for design solutions, and prepare final plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction bidding.

Beyond the office, you'll get hands‑on experience conducting site visits and traveling to rural locations to inspect and test utility systems. Your role doesn’t end once the plans are finalized—you’ll also provide critical technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals and conducting milestone site inspections to ensure everything stays on track.

But this role is about more than just the technical work. You'll have the opportunity to actively represent our client in professional organizations and community activities, expanding your network and making a broader impact in the field. With a mix of office collaboration, fieldwork, and community engagement, no two days will be the same in this dynamic and rewarding position.
