Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Wrangell, AK
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts
Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in a Long-Term Care setting. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, blood glucose, intake/output, and patient observations
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Assist with patient transfers and transportation throughout the facility
- Maintain resident rooms and nursing areas
- Collect specimens and report changes in patient condition
- Support nursing staff in delivering quality patient care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Active Alaska CNA License (Required)
- Current BLS Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist non-ambulatory patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 13-Week Contract
- 12-Hour Shifts
- Long-Term Care Setting
