Who we are:

We are a Vineyard Vines retail team focused on delivering the "Everyday should feel this good" vibe on the sales floor. From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll coach, train and develop the team into Brand Ambassadors with a focus on community. You’ll identify opportunities within and outside the store and support store leadership in strategic managerial tasks to successfully run a retail location.

This role is designed to leverage leadership skills while continuing to develop and guide others as a good life guide.

We are looking for charismatic, high energy individuals who want to bring the vibe to life on the sales floor. You’ll work with management to ensure each customer interaction is unique and tailored to their needs, and you’ll help grow within the organization by developing, teaching and harnessing your leadership potential.

• Generate sales to support the store in meeting or exceeding financial goals and metrics by creating memorable impressions with customers
• Host the party while effectively communicating Vineyard Vines core values to customers through the team
• Regularly exemplifies the values of Passion, Service, Integrity, Commitment, Teamwork and Fun
• Execute the fundamentals of the door-to-floor concept through receiving shipments to setting the floor with new inventory
• Focus on people development and training, providing ongoing and consistent training with current and new Crew on product, presentation and process through coaching in the moment and onboarding

In addition to role responsibilities, you will be asked to take on a Division of Responsibility (DOR). DORs are a set of distinct responsibilities assigned to leaders within the store to ensure clarity around execution of work and support development and growth. DORs are not a title or position but opportunities for individuals to progress within their role.

Note:

DORs will rotate.

• Minimum one year’s work experience in retail leadership, or equivalent role
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Charismatic personality and a love for the Vineyard Vines brand and community
• Proven track record in driving sales with strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Experience and passion for leading and mentoring a team
• Team focused, confident and professional
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

As an employee at a Vineyard Vines retail location, all team members must have the ability to:

• Stand and/or move around for extended periods of time
• Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally
• Lift up to 40 pounds, unless an accommodation is requested

• Weekend availability required – scheduling will be dependent upon the needs of the business
• 20-30 hours/week average to maintain part-time status
• Seasonal stores (25-40 hours/week average during seasonal peak periods)
