Senior Residential Childrens Support Worker /Team Leader

Location:

Wrexham (LL11)
Salary:  £38,480 to £39,750 including sleep-ins, depending on experience and qualifications
Rota:  2 days on / 4 days off (including sleep-ins)
An established and growing childrens care provider is looking for a Senior Residential Childrens Support Worker to join their expanding team. Based in Wrexham, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation that places strong emphasis on staff development, training and career progression.
You will play a key role in supporting children and young people within a residential setting, helping to create a safe, stable and nurturing environment where they can develop, grow and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities     Provide high quality care and emotional support to children and young people in a residential setting

Build positive and trusting relationships with young people

Support daily routines, activities and personal development

Promote a safe and nurturing environment at all times

Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support care plans

Complete accurate records and reports in line with regulatory standards

Whats on Offer     Competitive salary between £38,480 and £39,750 including sleep-ins

2 on / 4 off rota, supporting work life balance

Requirements     Experience in residential childrens care or a similar setting

Full UK driving licence

Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or similar

Ability to work long shifts and sleep-ins as part of the rota

Passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people
