Emergency Support Worker Hourly Rate: £14 to £14.82

Wrexham Job Type: Part-time/Full-time Join the Reed Emergency Placement Support (EPS) Team as an Emergency Support Worker in the Wrexham area.

Provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people. Engage regularly with young individuals to foster a positive environment. Participate actively in activities with the young person, such as playing games. Ensure strict compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures. Work closely with another support worker in a 2:1 support setting, with occasional opportunities for 1:1 support. Participate in mandatory annual training to stay updated on current practices.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Over 1 year’s experience working as a Social Worker or Care Assistant. Strong understanding of safeguarding and its importance in care. Proven experience in supporting young people. Effective communication skills. Must hold an Enhanced DBS with Adult and Child Barred List which is on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for this via Reed. Benefits:
