Mechanical Fitter & Fitter Welders & Mates - IPAF Ops

Overview

Mechanical Fitters, Fitter Welders & Mates – working on the installation of cable tray, ladder racking, uni strut supports & brackets ready for pipework. Fabrication of 2–4 inch & 6–8 inch pipework and setting up pipe butts & flanges for welding. Pipework welded to coded specs with TIG or MMA. Connecting pipework to panels, valves manifolds working from general & PID engineering drawings fitting screwed, maypress and small bore compression pipework.

Other work installing mechanical systems on machinery & erecting fitting steel work platforms on food factory site. Also completing checks & pipework tests. Working from IPAF Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker.

We are acting as an Employment on behalf of our Client. Recruiting Skilled & Semi Skilled Applicants/Workers for their various Sites such as Wrexham, Carmarthen, Cardiff, Newport and other areas.

Further work could be available if prepared to travel and ideally prepared to lodge away with hotel & meal paid for by Company, if required for 3 to 5 nights per week if Sites are not in local areas. Lodge = Hotel & Meals paid if living 60 + miles from Site.

Hours of Work = 0700 to 1900 Mon to Fri & Sat 0700 - 1630 & Sun if required. Term Work = 4 to 6 weeks subject to attendance, performance & work load.

Pay = Skilled £27 + Mon to Fri & £32 per hr Sat & £35 per hr Sun
