Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, opportunity for overtime
Role PurposeCBRE is seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Technician to deliver planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for our client in Wrexham. The role will involve general building maintenance with a strong focus on painting, basic plumbing, and fabric tasks, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)- Carry out PPM tasks in accordance with the site maintenance schedule and CBRE procedures
- Complete routine inspections of building fabric and services
- Accurately record all PPM activities using CBRE systems
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests
- Diagnose and resolve faults related to building fabric, painting, and plumbing
- Carry out minor plumbing works (e.g., leaks, taps, toilets, pipework repairs)
- Undertake painting and decorating works to maintain a professional site appearance
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Comply with all CBRE health, safety, and environmental policies
- Liaise professionally with clients, occupants, and subcontractors
- Escalate issues beyond own skill set where required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks
- Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities role
- Strong hands‑on skills in building fabric maintenance
- Experience in painting and basic plumbing essential
- Ability to complete PPMs and reactive tasks independently
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexibly and manage workload effectively
- Health & Safety training (e.g. IOSH, COSHH, Risk Assessment Awareness)
- Previous experience in a commercial or corporate environment
