Maintenance Electrician

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team, reporting to the Quarry Management.

The successful candidate will ensure all electrical maintenance, operation and plant efficiency is optimised. With a focus on energy reduction and sustainability in order to maintain the safe, maximum level of availability and reliability at the lowest level of maintenance costs, covering all electrical equipment, installations and buildings on the plant.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• To set, provide and maintain excellence in Electrical Maintenance Standards
• Responsible for the standards and ensuring the site work within the statutory legislation and company policies and procedures
• Control all costs related to electrical items within the overall maintenance budget
• Develop and deliver investment and improvement projects to increase plant efficiency, reduce energy consumption
• Setting of works technical standards
• Liaise with Electrical Statutory Inspection Engineers
• Adhering to and ensuring self and others follow health and safety and environmental compliance with Company rules and expectations, as well as any legal obligations
