Overview
The 7th floor is a 23-bed surgical unit. The patient population consists of post-operative surgeries that do not require telemetry. Typical surgeries include hip/knee replacements, spine and other orthopedic surgeries, bariatrics, hysterectomies, general surgeries, and trauma patients. We are a service center for excellence for orthopedics and bariatrics. We have an excellent rapid recovery program for joint replacement patients, and most go home the day after surgery.
Surgical experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome as well. Our staff enjoy flexible scheduling and the ability to self-schedule their preferred days. We have great teamwork on our unit and look forward to you joining our team.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
