Registered Nurse - Clinical Decision Unit- 24 hours - Days
We are hiring a registered nurse for the 16‑bed Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) that provides observation care for patients requiring up to 24 hours of monitoring beyond the initial emergency department evaluation.
Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with the assigned provider team to deliver rapid, high‑quality patient care, managing cardiac monitoring, and performing NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments. Nurses will be cross‑trained in the Emergency Department (ED) and CDU and must maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Critical Care Nursing Course, and NIHSS certification throughout employment.
Education / Experience Required- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
