Job Title
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Unit Description
3 PCU is a 34 bed telemetry floor designated for the care of acutely ill adult patients with a variety of diagnoses. Whether it is assisting to manage chronic illnesses or help treat acute conditions, our team lives to serve the Downriver Community and strives to provide safe, reliable, care. We proudly promote professional nurse advancement and offer ACLS and NIHSS certification, as well as arrhythmia/EKG interpretation training.
RN ratios of 1:4 with acuity based assignments and NA ratio of 1:8. We do what we do because we are driven to make a difference in the world one person, one interaction at a time. Come help the helpers and be a part of our team!
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
